At the Co-op, we’re always looking for new ways to support our Skagit Valley community. Whether you’re hosting a raffle, gala, or community fundraiser, we’re excited to review your request. That said, we do have some donation guidelines we as an organization adhere to.
All donations must benefit the local community.
We do our best to respond to donations in a timely manner, but we do need enough notice to get the donation processed. With that said, requests made less than 4 weeks prior to the event will not be considered.
Only one donation will be made per year to any given organization.
If you are requesting a donation on behalf of a non-profit organization, you must provide documentation of the 501c3 status.
Though it’s not required, public acknowledgement of our donation is kindly welcomed and appreciated.
Requests made by any of the following groups will not be considered:
Political candidates or organizations
Third-party fundraisers
Individuals/personal sponsorships
Any organization that discriminates on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, or status in any other protected group.
We reserve the right to alter our donation guidelines or make exceptions as we see fit.
Thank you for taking the time to request a donation from the Skagit Valley Food Co-op! We will carefully consider your donation request and guarantee a response to all requests as they are processed. Because of the overwhelming volume of requests, we must respectfully ask that you refrain from calling or emailing to follow up on your request. We will contact you as soon as possible to let you know of our decision.
